No more strings or clips to keep the mittens on. The childrens wrists stay warm and dry and their hands stay warm too. L-Bow Mittens and Gloves are waterproof and lined with Thinsulate® thermal insulation so they stay dry and warm on the coldest days. Also, L-Bow mittens and gloves are made with tough Taslon® nylon for better durability. The ability to keep water out comes from an internal bladder sytem in each item. This bladder system is comprised of a plastic barrier located between the taslon shell and the insulation that surrounds the childs hand. There are times that we hear a comment about the mittens or gloves getting damp inside. This moisture is created by the childs hand sweating during periods of high activity coupled with their higher metabolism rate. These kids mittens and gloves are designed to be worn over childrens winter clothing.
